Conversation between friends while watching a cricket match (दो दोस्तों के बीच क्रिकेट मैच के दौरान की बातचीत)

Raghav: Hey Manas! What’s the time?
राघव: अरे मानस! क्या टाइम हो रहा है ?

Manas: Bro! It’s 10 pm now.
मानस: यार! अभी तो 10 बज रहे हैं ।

Raghav: Do you know when will the match start?
राघव: क्या तुम्हें पता है मैच कब शुरू होगा?

Manas: Bro, I had seen on an ad yesterday that the match was probably going to start at 2 pm on Star Sports.
मानस: यार, मैंने कल रात को ऐड में देखा था, कि शायद मैच  स्टार स्पोर्ट्स पर दोपहर दो बजे से शुरू होने वाला था ।

Raghav: Don’t tell me! I have been waiting for India- Australia match for a long. It should not happen that I miss the match.
राघव: क्या बात कर रहा है यार! मैं भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मैच के लिए कितने दिन से इंतज़ार कर रहा हूँ, ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए कि मैच मिस हो जाये।

Manas: Bro, today Kohli will score another century and smash the Australian bowlers as he always does.
मानस: भाई, आज कोहली फिर से शतक लगाएगा और ऑस्ट्रेलिया की जम कर धुलाई करेगा जैसे वो हमेशा करता है ।

Raghav: But, we have Australia’s dangerous bowlers to face, who defeated us last time.
राघव : लेकिन हमें ऑस्ट्रेलिया के ख़ूँख़ार गेंदबाज़ों का सामना करना है , जिन्होंने पिछली बार हमें धुल चटाई थी।

Manas: Let bygones be bygones, why are you recollecting sad memories!
मानस: अरे बीत गयी सो बात गयी, क्यों कड़वी यादें ताज़ा कर रहे हो!

Raghav: You are right but still we need to play cautiously.
राघव: बात तो तेरी सही है लेकिन हमें फिर भी संभल के खेलना होगा ।

Manas: India has Dhoni, he will handle everything.
मानस : भारत के पास धोनी है, वो सब संभाल लेगा यार।

Raghav: Seriously bro! We won’t ever get another player like Dhoni, he has won us so many matches single-handedly.
राघव : सचमुच यार! धोनी जैसा खिलाड़ी हमें शायद फिर कभी न मिले , कितने बड़े मैच जिताये हैं अपने दम पर उसने ।

Manas: And he also does outstanding captaincy, did you forget the 2011 World cup when Dhoni hit that historical six.
मानस : और कप्तानी भी तो ज़बरदस्त करता है, 2011 का विश्व कप भूल गए क्या जब धोनी ने वो ऐतिहासिक छक्का लगाया था ।

Raghav: Hey! Now, will you keep on talking or switch on the TV.
राघव : अरे! अब तू बात ही करता रहेगा या टीवी भी ऑन करेगा ।

Manas: I am doing it now, why are you so tense?
मानस : अभी करता हूँ यार, तू इतनी टेंशन क्यों ले रहा है ?

Raghav: What! The last over is going on and India need 15 runs.
राघव : ये क्या! आखिरी ओवर चल रहा है और भारत को 15 रन चाहिए।

Manas: Bro, I think we have lost the game already, should I switch off the TV?
मानस: भाई, लगता है आज तो गया मैच हाथ से, टीवी बंद कर दूँ क्या ?

Raghav: What are you saying! Our hero Dhoni is still on the field so what’s there to fear?
राघव: कैसी बात कर रहा है!  अभी हमारा हीरो धोनी है मैदान में तो डरने की क्या बात है ।

Manas: Okay, I believe in you. Oh God! Make India victorious.
मानस: चल तेरी बात पे मुझे भरोसा है, हे भगवान!  भारत को जीता दे ।

Raghav: Oh my God! What a six, it’s out of the stadium, such a delight.
राघव: ओह तेरी! क्या छक्का लगाया यार सीधा स्टेडियम पार, मज़ा आ गया ।

Manas: Bro, please don’t move from your lucky place, see it’s an important match. Please!
मानस: भाई, तू अपनी लकी जगह से मत हिलना, देख ज़रूरी मैच है । प्लीज!

Raghav: Okay, till then can you check where is the online food that we had ordered.
राघव: ठीक है, तू तब तक यह देख जो हमने ऑनलाइन खाना आर्डर किया था वो कहाँ तक पहुंचा।

Manas: Hey! He must be coming, see Dhoni has hit the next ball for four.
मानस: अरे वो आ ही रहा होगा, तू देख धोनी ने अगली बॉल पे चौका मार दिया ।

Raghav: Wow! Today the king of Ranchi is in outstanding form.
राघव: वाह! आज तो धुआंधार फॉर्म में लग रहा है रांची का राजकुमार ।

Manas: Hey! And it’s six and we have won!
मानस: अरे ! और ये लगा छक्का और हम जीत गए यार !

Raghav: Wow! Dhoni is one in a million. What a brilliant innings he has played.
राघव: वाह! धोनी सचमुच करोड़ों में एक है । क्या शानदार पारी खेली है उसने।

Manas: Okay then, on this happy note would you go and bring the food from the main gate as the delivery boy is calling me.
मानस: चल, इसी जीत की ख़ुशी के मौके पे दरवाज़े पर से खाना लेके आजा वो डिलीवरी वाला मुझे फ़ोन कर रहा है ।

Raghav: Yes, now let’s have food, you go and bring plates till I come with the food.
राघव: हाँ, चल अब खाना खाते हैं, तू प्लेट निकाल तब तक मैं खाना लेके आया।

Manas: Yes, Do it fast as I am feeling sleepy and it’s also too late.
मानस: हाँ, जल्दी कर मुझे नींद आ रही है और बहुत रात भी हो गयी है ।

Raghav: You are right, let’s have our food and then take a sound sleep.
राघव: सही बात है, खाना खा के चैन की नींद सो जाते हैं।
