(Wo 2 ghante se padh rahi hoti par uska bag kho gaya hai.)
She would have been studying for 2 hours but her bag is lost.

(Wo 2 ghante se padh rahi hogi kyonki uske paas apna bag hai.)
She would have been studying for 2 hours because she has her bag.

अब उसके खर्चे तुम्हें उठाने पड़ेंगे।
(Ab uske kharche tumhe uthane padenge.)
Now you will have to bear his expenses.

उसके पास कुछ तो होना ही चाहिए था।
(Uske paas kuchh to hona hi chahie tha.)
He must have had something.
He should have had to have something.

आपको कल स्कूल जाना पड़ सकता था।
(Apko kal school  jaana pad sakta tha.)
You could have had to go to school yesterday./
You may have had to go to school yesterday./
You might have had to go to school yesterday.

काश मैं डॉक्टर बन गया होता।
(Kaash main Doctor ban gaya hota.)
I wish I would have become a doctor.

काश मैं डॉक्टर बन पाता।
(Kaash main Doctor ban pata.)
I wish I could become a doctor.

2025 तक मेरे पास कार हो सकती है।
(2025 tak mere paas car ho sakti hai.)
I may have a car by 2025. /
I might have a car by 2025. /
I could have a car by 2025. /
I can have a car by 2025.

आपको इस वक्त घर पर होना चाहिए था।
(Aapko is waqt ghar par hona chahiye tha.)
You should have been at home this time.

(Aapako us din vahaan jaana pada hoga.)
You would have had to go there that day.

आपको वहाँ रोज़ जाना पड़ता होगा।
(Aapako vahaan roz jaana padata hoga.)
You would have to go there every day.

आपको कल रवि से मिलना पड़ सकता था।
(Apko kal Ravi se milna pad sakta tha.)
You could have had to meet Ravi yesterday.
You may have had to meet Ravi yesterday.
You might have had to meet Ravi yesterday.

इस सब्ज़ी को तेल में भूना जा सकता है।
(Is sabji ko tel me bhoona ja sakta hai.)
This vegetable can be fried in oil./
This vegetable could be fried in oil./
This vegetable may be fried in oil./
This vegetable might be fried in oil.

तुम नल खोल सकते थे पर तुमने नहीं खोला।
(Tum nal khol sakte the pr tumne ni khola.)
You could have turned the tap on but you didn’t.

उसके पास बोलने के लिए कुछ तो होना चाहिए था।
(Uske paas bolne ke liye kuchh to hona chahiye tha.)
He should have had at least something to speak. /
He had to have at least something to speak.

मेरे पास लैपटॉप होना चाहिए था, तभी मैं आपकी मदद कर पाता।
(Mere pas laptop hona chahie tha tabhi main aapki madad kar pata.)
I should have had a laptop, only then I could help you.

क्या आप राकेश को फोन कर पाओगे?
(Kya aap rakesh ko phone kar paoge?)
Will you be able to call Rakesh?

बच्चों को मोबाइल नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए।
(Bacchon ko mobile nahi diya jana chahiye.)
Children shouldn’t be given mobiles.

ये ऑफर किसी को भी ललचा सकता है।
(Ye offer kisi ko bhee lalcha sakta hai.)
This offer can tempt anyone./
This offer could tempt anyone./
This offer may tempt anyone./
This offer might tempt anyone.

तुम्हें मुझे याद दिलाना चाहिए था।
(Tumhe mujhe yaad dilana chahiye tha.)
You should have reminded me.

वो हर समय राहुल के साथ होता था।
(Vo har samay Rahul ke sath hota tha.)
He would be with Rahul all the time.

वो वहाँ जाने की हिम्मत क्यों करता है।
(Vo vahaan jaane ki himmat kyou karta hai?)
Why does he dare to go there? / Why dare he go there?

वो आप पर हाथ उठाने की हिम्मत कैसे कर सकता है?
(Vo aap par haath uthaane ki himmat kaise kar sakta hai?)
How can he dare to raise his hand on you?

आपको इस वक्त स्कूल में ज़रूर होना चाहिए था।
(Apko is waqt school mein zaroor hona chaahie tha.)
You must have been in school right now.

बस सुबह निकल चुकी होगी।
(Bus subah nikal chuki hogi.)
The bus would have left in the morning.

क्या आप चाहेंगे कि मैं आऊँ?
(Kya aap chahenge ki main aaoon?)
Would you like me to come?

क्या आप नहीं चाहेंगे कि मैं आऊँ?
(Kya aap nahi chahenge ki main aaoon?)
Would you not like me to come?

क्या आप चाहेंगे कि मैं न आऊँ?
(Kya aap chahenge ki main na aaoon?)
Would you like me not to come?

मैं 2004 से दिल्ली में था।
(Main 2004 se Delhi mein tha.)
I had been in Delhi since 2004.

He must have travelled by bus.

मुझे पहले से ही अंदाजा था कि वह यहां नहीं आएगा।
Mujhe pahale se hee andaaza tha ki vah yahaan nahin aaega.
I already had an idea that he wouldn’t come here.

जल्द ही आपके पास एक अच्छी नौकरी हो सकती है।
(Jald hee aapake paas ek achchhee naukaree ho sakatee hai.)
You can have a good job soon.

धोनी अगला मैच खेल रहा होगा।
(Dhoni agala match khel raha hoga.)
Dhoni will be playing the next match. {In future}

धोनी अभी खेल रहा होगा।
(Dhoni abhee khel raha hoga.)
Dhoni would be playing right now. {At present}

घर से निकलने से पहले वो एक कप कॉफी पी सकती थी।
(Ghar se nikalane se pahale vo ek cup coffee pee sakatee thee.)
She could/may/might have had a cup of coffee before leaving home

अगर उसके पास भी अच्छी नौकरी होती तो उसके पास भी एक अच्छा घर हो सकता था।
(Agar uske pass bhi acchi naukri hoti to unke pas bhi ek accha ghar ho sakta tha.)
If he also had a good job, he could have had a good house too.

शायद बारिश हो रही होगी।
(Shayad barish ho rahi hogi.)
It could/may/might be raining.

शायद वो तुमसे मिले।
(Shayad vo tumse mile.)
He may/might/could meet you.

आज वो उस कम्पनी में काम कर रहा होता।
(Aaj vo us company me kaam kar raha hota.)
He would be working in that company today.

उसे वहाँ जाने की ज़रूरत नहीं पड़ती है।
(Use vahaan jaane ki zaroorat nahi padti hai.) {Negative}
He doesn’t need to go there.
He need not go there.

क्या उसे वहाँ नहीं जाना पड़ा?
(Kya use vahaan nahi jaana pada?)
Had he not to go there? / Did he not have to go there?

क्या मैं आपसे कल मिल सकता हूँ?
(Kya main aapase kal mil sakata hoon?)
Can/Could/May I meet you tomorrow?

मैं 6 बजे उठता था जब मैं एक बच्चा था। 
(Main 6 baje uthta tha jab mai ek baccha tha.)
I used to wake up at 6 when I was a kid.
I would wake up at 6 when I was a kid.

हमें सुबह नाश्ता ज़रूर करना चाहिए था।
(Humein subah naashta zaroor karana chaahie tha.)
We must have had breakfast in the morning.

तुम्हें कल उससे मिलना था।
(Tumhen kal usse milna tha.)
You had to meet him yesterday./
You were to meet him yesterday. /
You were supposed to meet him yesterday.

उसे क्या कहना है?
(Use kya kehna hai?)
What has he to say? / What is he to say?

आपको किसी भी शहर भेजा जा सकता है।
(Aapako kisee bhee shahar bheja ja sakata hai.)
You can/could/may/might be sent to any city.

मुझे वहाँ रोज़ जाना पड़ता था।
(Mujhe vahaan roz jana padata tha.)
I had to go there every day.

राहुल को सोचना पड़ रहा है।
(Rahul ko sochna pad raha hai.)
Rahul is having to think. / Rahul has to think.

आप मुझसे कल मिल सकते हैं।
(Aap mujhse kal mil sakte hain.)
You can/could/may/might meet me tomorrow.
