मम्मी के पास पैसे नहीं है।
(Mammi ke pass paise nahi hai.)
Mom doesn’t have money./
Mom has no money.

वो किसके पापा हैं?

(Ek din mere paas ek Mercedes car hogi.)
One day, I will have a Mercedes car.

तुम कब तक ऑफिस में थे?
(Tum kab tak office mein the?)
Until when were you in the office?
Until when were you there in the office?
Please note: You can also use “Till what time” instead of “Until when” in the above sentence.

वो कब से ऑफिस में है?
(Vo kab se office mein hai?)
Since when has he been in the office?
Since when has he been there in the office?
Please note: You can also use “For how long” instead of “Since when” in the above sentence.

रवि घर पर सोया हुआ है।
(Ravi ghar par soya hua hai.)
Ravi is asleep at home.

रवि इस वक्त उठा हुआ है।
(Ravi is waqt utha hua hai.)
Ravi is awake at this time.

रवि इस वक्त बैठा हुआ है।
(Ravi is waqt baitha hua hai.)
Ravi is sitting at this time.

मैं क्लास में बैठा हूँ
(Main class mein baitha hoon.)
I am sitting in the class.

रवि इस वक्त खड़ा है।
(Ravi is waqt khada hai.)
Ravi is standing at this time.

पैन मुड़ा हुआ है।
(Pen muda hua hai.)
The pen is bent.

ये बात मेरी किताब में लिखी हुई है।
(Ye baat meri kitab me likhi hui hai.)
This thing is written in my book.

ये बात इस किताब में छपी हुई है।
(Ye baat is kitab me chhapi hui hai.)
This thing is printed in this book.

रोड़ पर एक आदमी मरा हुआ है।
(Road par ek aadmi mara hua hai.)
A man is dead on the road.
There is a man dead on the road.

मेरे पास कुछ फटे हुए कपड़े हैं
(Mere paas kuchh phate hue kapde hain.)
I have some torn clothes.

I have some worn-out clothes.

    Whay are you use had been this is simple sentences i can not understand stand clear my doubt…

    1. because it is a past perfect continuous tense .if we didn’t use time expressing word .then it will be past perfect tense.

  6. we use had been for sentences which represent time whether is it simple or tense sentences, that’s why we used had been in that sentence
